🚨 SCAM ALERT! 🚨
We’d like to bring attention to a scam attempt targeting businesses like ours. Recently, someone contacted The Roots Luyang claiming to represent the Ministry of Tourism, Arts, and Culture Malaysia. They requested catering and door gifts for an upcoming event, complete with fake official documents to make their story believable.
Thankfully, we identified the red flags in time and avoided falling victim to this scam. We’ve since confirmed with the authorities that no such event exists.
To all fellow businesses: be cautious when dealing with unsolicited requests, especially involving large payments or urgent deadlines. Always double-check with official sources to confirm the legitimacy of such inquiries.
