So proud of myself making a kallax kitchen island, I already had the units just got the inserts. The table top is from amazon but that’s only because Ikea didn’t have the size I wanted in stock otherwise it would all have been from Ikea 👍🏻

When I get an idea in my head, it takes years for it to happen. We live on a farm, and any projects inside the house are put on the back burner so we can fix outside stuff. I bought the cube organizers from TARGET 2-3 years ago. I had some nightstands I had planned on buying from there for the wall of white dressers, but by the time I had the money together, they were discontinued. I started searching IKEA. I found the three drawer Storklinta dressers, and they worked soooo much better. The sizing was almost a perfect fit. They filled the space better and were the perfect height. I could take the time and money to make them look built in, but it’s just my closet. I’m still not completely done. I’m going to paint and then wallpaper the empty wall and hang a large mirror. We still need to put the quarter round back in some places too. The before pics are HORRIBLE.

I posted a while ago to see if anyone has used a Kallax unit for a room divider … I finally done it 👏
I opted for a 3 box height and raised it up so there was still a good bit of natural light
It hides my little sewing corner perfectly 🥰
(The back unit is only there temporarily i don’t need access to the door and the fish tank is empty and yes it needs a clean 🐟)

This was my first time using the new “quick assembly” PAX carcasses, and it’s a thumbs up from me, very impressed. All this done in 5 hours, my customer was very happy. 👍🏻👍🏻

Thanks to your ideas on here, I have finally made a kallax bed for my son! To say he is pleased is an understatement 😍
