TL;DR: Price increment because we're upgrading our default matcha 🌱

You've probably read the news about matcha shortage that’s affected suppliers worldwide. Our go-to Suisen matcha has gone AWOL because of that 😢

Rather than compromising on quality, we’ve decided to switch our default matcha to Wakatake; a high premium grade (also from Marukyu Koyamaen), that’s smoother, richer, and even more beautiful in your cup. ✨🍵

This means:
📈 Regular matcha fans → Small price increment (blame the matcha gods, not us).
📉 Former Wakatake drinkers → Congrats, you’re now paying less than before 🎉 (yes, we’re taking one for the team).

We know price changes can be heartbreaking, but our goal has always been to serve you the best matcha we can get our hands on 💚

PS: Wakatake is subject to availability. We reserve the rights to swap to a similar tasting matcha when we run out of it.
