第一代 · 酒席
30年代 阿公自琼海南下，落脚巴生港口。成为“海南村”远近闻名的酒席大厨，婚宴喜事、庙会节庆总少不了他的大铁锅与柴火。烟火气中，盛的是乡愁与团圆。

第二代 · 上门自助餐
第二代顺应时代，将酒席演变 为“上门自助餐”，婚宴、满月 酒、乔迁宴，甚至天后宫年会， 海南味走进千家万户，也把“筵 席精神”融入日常。

第三代 · 咖啡馆
我们承接祖辈的厨艺与精神，开设【颖The Hainanory】。 以“传统×创新”为核心，把筵席经典转化为日常菜单，让人随时尝到一口熟悉的滋味。

1st Generation · Feast Banquets
In the 1930s, our grandfather journeyed from Hainan, China to Port Klang. He became a celebrated banquet chef, and weddings, temple festivals & community gatherings were never complete without his giant woks, bamboo trays, and wood-fired dishes that carried the flavors of nostalgia and togetherness.

2nd Generation · Home Catering
As society evolved, feasts transformed into convenient home catering. Weddings, full-moon celebrations, housewarmings, even annual dinners at the Thean Hou Temple — Hainanese flavors reached every household. The second generation carried Grandpa’s craft door to door, bringing not only food but also the spirit of togetherness.

3rd Generation · Café
Today, we inherit both their skills and their values, bringing them into [The Hainanory] in Klang Old Town. Our philosophy is “Tradition × Innovation” — transforming feast classics into everyday café menus, so everyone can taste a bite of reunion anytime.

This inspiring event brings the community together through heritage exploration, clean-up activities, and environmental awareness—reminding us that caring for our surroundings starts with small, collective actions.

As part of our contribution, The Hainanory is honoured to provide luncheon for the dedicated volunteers who made this initiative possible.
