Penne and spaghetti dishes are perennial favorites’ here and include salmon,alio olio, carbonarra, chicken, arabiatta, smoked duck etc etc. There are a number of salads on the menu and these include the usual garden salad and cold meat salad, a delicious mango chicken salad , smoked salmon salad and also a wonderful smoked duck salad. One of our regular customers likes to order the duck salad with a croissant straight from the oven and a side of fries and makes a brilliant, but very big, sandwich with it. Other sandwiches include submarine sandwiches, with a selection of breads such as foccacia, croissants, and french baguette. Lamb dishes include my step dads recipe for lamb shank stew, which he grew up with in Scotland, this dish is slow cooked for at least two hours so that it gives time for the flavours of the vegetables and lamb to really develop, and by the time its ready the meat literally falls off the bone this dish includes a couple of slices of garlic toast to mop up the rich gravy ……. YUMMY . When it comes to fish, my favourite is the pan grilled salmon served with a cream sauce, its DELICIOUS , we also serve the salmon topped with a slice of chicken ham and melted cheese for a really nice alternative to the usual fried or grilled fish. Other fish on our menu include grilled dory and grilled cod fish. New dishes are added regularly and we have daily specials so please check our board or ask our friendly and efficient staff
