A sad story of us 😭

As some of you know, we’ve been selling Marukyu Koyamaen matcha for quite some time, so since we’re traveling in Japan, we decided to make a trip to Uji — the matcha city 🍵

1 hour train ride, 20 mins bus ride… then we missed our stop because we forgot to press the stop button 🤡 Ended up at the wrong location, and the next bus was 1 hour later…

So… we gave up and took a taxi for 1.5km (RM50… pain 🥲)

Finally reached Marukyu Koyamaen Uji Main Store… only to realize they were closed for Golden Week🤡

Okay never mind… we went to Yamamasa Koyamaen instead…

Closed too 😭😭

Moral of the story: always check opening hours before visiting 🤡

But in the end, we still explored some other matcha shops here, and honestly… the matcha in Uji is sooo good. Totally worth the trip
