“八号咖啡洞”创立于二零一四年，取名源自店铺牌号“八”，以及马来西亚霹雳州最为傲人且多元的旅游景区之一“洞”，其意在人杰地灵的霹雳州游“洞”玩水后，仍不忘到“八号咖啡洞”来点杯热腾腾的香醇咖啡，和三五知己歇脚聊天。

本店风貌保留着英国殖民期的英式怀旧，并适量翻新被岁月洗礼的掉漆，重新营造宜古宜今的舒适环境。

同时为了打造一个与别不同的咖啡店，“洞”内提供慰藉心灵的书籍，举办音乐，书籍或电影交流会，以及“限时寄忆”的明信片空间；指日可待的是，一楼空间将不定时播放非主流电影，势必创造一个与众同乐的艺文空间，让本是只尝咖啡，享用食物的地方，也能朝气勃勃，年轻而活跃起来。
