A rustic cozy space with good coffee, real fruit smoothies and comfort food since more than a decade ago. 𝙉𝙤𝙣-𝙝𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙡. Aud’s was founded in 2012 as JJ Cafe, relocated to Ipoh Old Town and rebranded to Aud's Cafe together with my husband in 2017. We often tell people we call this place home, a cozy space for good coffee, healthy smoothies using only real fruits as well as serving comfort food. Togeth
er with our landlord, we preserve as much of the character of the vintage building as possible while we turned this space to a charming cafe. This space used to be the famous Ipoh Star Barber hence you can still see the old signage of ‘Kedai Gunting Rambut Star’ on the window next to our front door. Guests can also take a look around Kong Heng Square, home to the iconic Kong Heng coffee shop, Sekeping Kong Heng retreat, Plan B Restaurant and last but not least, The Artisan Market located just behind our cafe. Our hopes are that our coffee and refreshing smoothies are able to brighten up someone’s day, that our simple comforting Pulled Pork Cheese Sandwich and Mama Aud’s ‘Tau Eu Bak’ ricebowl can make a person’s tummy happy. We are simple and maybe just a lil cliche, we do everything out of love and a honest heart. We do the things we love and believe in, and that basically sums up Aud’s as a whole.
