Penang Assam Laksa (槟城亚参叻沙) @ RM 2.40/RM2.70 (s/l) ~ The amount of fish meat is so noticeable and generous. Instead of having all the fish meat crushed, here they served in big chunks, fresh. The fish broth is clear, not as thick as others but sourish and flavorful enough. The lei fun (酹粉) is nicely cooked and springy. Mint leaves and sliced onions are aplenty. For extra kick I added additional bird’s-eye chillies and since I don’t favor the overly fishy taste, I omitted the shrimp paste. Good! An 8/10!
