Khob kun kap to everyone who came for the relaunch of Caffeine Cartel 🍾

The most striking thing that you will notice when you come into our café now is the bright orange wall adorned with art by - a very well known Thai pop artist 🧑🏻‍🎨

Many people already said our sound system was really good, but we wanted to take it to the next level so we worked closely with .apac to create a custom soundscape for the café - please come and listen to what is definitely the best sound system of any bar or café in Penang 🔊

We are very grateful and appreciative to Thai Bev and for supporting our relaunch and if anyone wants to try Thailand’s first premium single malt whisky, do drop by and be really really nice to Daddy Andrew and maybe he’ll pour you a shot 😉

We make little improvements to our café on an almost daily basis, but we consider this latest update big enough to call it a Version 2.0 of Caffeine Cartel ✌🏼

We’ve been planning this one for a while but now it’s finally ready! 💪🏼

Our café’s version of the classic Penang breakfast - Benggali Roti w/ Kaya + 2 Soft-Boiled Eggs 🙌🏼

We’ve added some sunflower seeds + spring onions for you to sprinkle on the kampung eggs and if you add a dash of our Cantonese chili oil + HK soy sauce + Sarawak pepper you will be in for a real treat 😉

We also have to mention that we managed to procure the BEST kaya in Penang for the toast. The BEST. 😌

So if you’re in town at 10am and need a good breakfast, please drop by 🫶🏼

A guest came in the other and enjoyed the food so much that he wanted to come back next day and asked if we could prepare some special OFF-MENU goodies for him so of course we obliged 👌🏼

We prepared a delicious feast for our guest, which included:

1) A5 Miyazaki Rib-Eye w/ Panaeng Curry 🥩
2) Stir-Fried Clams w/ Kra Pao Sauce 🌿
3) Charred Baby Squid w/ Tom Yum Mayo 🦑

An umami-packed meal and all the plates (including sauce plates) were licked clean 😋

OFF-MENU IS A THING NOW 😉 DM us to arrange your own personal off-menu experience 🫶🏼
