Mukha Cafe draws it’s inspiration from a place of the same name in Yemen, where traders from all corners of the world converged to meet and trade coffee in the 15th century. Established in 2011, Mukha is a part of this spirit, acting as a hub for events, intellectual and spiritual knowledge and of course, good coffee.

Limited mulukhiyah is now available, amongst other fresh harvests like brinjal, cucumber, papaya, bananas, butterfly pea flowers, ulam raja and leafy greens, picked straight from Mukha Tree, our own organic farm located less than 1km from the café.

What begins as food waste from the café is turned into compost, helping us grow fresh produce that returns to your plate.

Not just avoiding plastic straws. Not just saying “organic”. Just trying, step by step, to keep things real.

This will be an evening at a garden for young boys to begin understanding their transition into maturity from being a dependent towards being a force their parents can depend on themselves.

Represented in the context of rite of passage, one activity will teach them how to do the adhan - so that when the time comes, they’ll be ready to become the imam of the household.
