THINGS THAT TAKE TIME

We often remember the places we went, but rarely the moments that made us stay.

A warm loaf on the table. Coffee before the world wakes up. Someone sitting across from us. A conversation with no particular ending.

Nothing grand. Nothing extraordinary.

Just life, happening quietly between one moment and the next. Maybe that is what makes a place worth returning to. Not because it takes us somewhere new, but because, for a little while, it lets us feel at home. 🙂

​Back in 2014, we created the original Coconut Cream Latte. Now, 100,000 cups later, we’re finally dropping the blueprint to say thank you.

We gave the nation it's Founding Father (Tunku Abdul Rahman), it's longest serving Prime Minister (Tun Dr. Mahathir), and it's only two-time King (Sultan Abdul Halim). We've produced corporate titans (Syed Mokhtar Al-Bukhary), legal giants (Tun Zaki Ahmad), international cinema heavyweights (Angelica Lee, Bront Palarae), and world-class badminton royalty (Tan Boon Heong, Pearly, and Zii Jia).

​And of course, the Coconut Cream Latte. Yes, we're claiming our spot! ✊️

​Long before the global hype, it was just us back in 2014, blending Gula Melaka and local coconut flakes. 100,000 cups later, our arms are sore from steaming milk, but our hearts are full. ❤️

A MOTHER TO THE NATION

Behind her familiar warmth was a heart that cared deeply for our nation.

She may not have been the one giving the loud speeches, but she was always there; Steady, kind, and full of grace. She taught us all that true strength doesn't have to be loud.

This photograph captures a pure, happy moment for a woman who spent a lifetime quietly giving so much of herself to our country.

面包怎么吃，其实没有标准答案。

有人喜欢烤得脆一点，有人喜欢里面还留着一点柔软，有人抹很多牛油，
有人喜欢一颗半熟蛋，撒一点胡椒，再淋一点酱油。也有人什么都不加，就这样，一口一口吃完。

我们自己吃酸种面包的时候，也没有特别复杂。一片面包，一杯 Latte，再加一点自己喜欢的东西。

法国牛油、半熟蛋、Kaya，有时候只是很简单的早餐，却可以让一个早晨变得很好。所以我们一直觉得，好吃这件事，没有一个标准答案。

你喜欢怎么吃，就是你的答案。而这一次，我们也把自己的答案放进了菜单里。酸种面包，配上 Teriyaki Chicken。熟悉的味道，放在一块不太一样的面包上。

面包还是那块面包，只是这一次，换一种吃法。🙂

月亮代表我的心。

小时候听这句话，觉得月亮很远，心也很远。

长大以后才发现，有些歌不需要解释，一响起来，就知道是在想念谁。

今晚，月亮还是那个月亮，音乐也还是那段音乐。

中秋快乐。愿这一晚的月光，替我们把想说的话，慢慢送到远方。 🙂

THE MOON, AS ALWAYS

When we were young, the moon felt far away, and so did the heart.

Growing older, we begin to realise that some songs need no explanation. The moment they begin to play, we already know who we are missing.

Tonight, the moon is still the same moon, and the music is still the same old melody.

Happy Mid-Autumn Festival.

May the moonlight tonight carry the words we never quite knew how to say, slowly, to wherever they need to go. 🙂
