A sope or picadita is a traditional Mexican antojito (snack/street food) originating from central and southern Mexico, consisting of a thick, pinched-edge corn masa tortilla. It is cooked on a griddle, topped with beans, salsa, cheese, and sometimes meat. Sopes are typically smaller, fried with a "cantarito" shape, while picaditas are larger, griddled with lard, and often served for breakfast
