Get ready for a night where "killing it on the dance floor" is taken literally. Qué Onda Café Chelem is transforming into Boogieland 77, New York’s glitziest disco club, for an immersive 1970s murder mystery dinner! Qué Chido!!

🕺 Murder on the Dance Floor: An Evening of Intrigue & Disco💃🏼

🪩 The Scene: Saturday night fever has turned deadly. A sudden scream has interrupted the music, and a crime has been committed right in the heart of Boogieland 77

🪩Your Mission: Step into a character role—from pop stars to disco legends—and work with your fellow guests to piece together clues, examine the evidence file, and unmask the killer before the last song plays

🪩Dress Code: High-energy 1970s fashion is highly encouraged. Think sequins, velvet, flares, and platforms. This is optional, but much more fun for all if you dress up! Be creative

🪩Experience: This is more than just a dinner, it’s a full social event featuring character cards, props, and awards for the Best Costume, Best Performance, and Best Detective. If someone is able to win all three, their meal is free!!

🪩Dinner: 3 course meal included in the event

🪩Time: Arrive between 5PM and 5:30, for a social hour with the event starting promptly at 5:30. It is expected to end between 8PM-8:30

We are now open Monday - Friday 2 - 9PM

"¡Qué chido!" is a popular Mexican slang phrase that translates to "How cool!", "That's awesome!", or "That's great!".It is used to express enthusiasm, approval, or admiration for a person, object, or situation

This week we will be open in the evenings all 5 days, and start our special events on Wednesday and Friday with our Murder Mystery Dinners

Thursday will be our Pizza and Game Night!

🥯 Open-Faced Bagel Sandwiches 🥯

An open-faced bagel sandwich is prepared by slicing a bagel in half horizontally and piling toppings onto each individual half rather than closing them together into a traditional sandwich. This style is favored by many because it allows for a more balanced ratio of bagel to "accoutrements," eliminates the need to unhinge one's jaw for a large bite, and provides double the surface area for gourmet toppings.
