PROJECT LAUNCH: CONSTRUCTION AND IMPLEMENTATION OF SANITATION AND WATER INFRANSTRUCTURE – NAMATAPA PRIMARY SCHOOL AND THE SURROUNDING KASELEMA COMMUNITY, MALAWI.
We are pleased to share the commencement of one of our ongoing WASH infrastructure projects—the Construction and Implementation of Sanitation and Water Infrastructure for Namatapa Primary School and the surrounding Kaselema Community. This project is designed to improve access to safe sanitation and clean water, contributing to better public health, enhanced learning conditions and sustainable community development.
Construction of the latrine facilities has made significant progress through the successful completion of the substructure works. Activities completed to date include site setting out, excavation of foundation trenches, stone masonry foundation works and the casting of reinforced concrete foundations. High-strength steel reinforcement mesh has been embedded within the concrete to increase structural capacity, improve crack resistance and ensure long-term durability.
With the foundation system and base works now complete, the project is ready to advance into the superstructure phase, where masonry walling, reinforced concrete elements, roofing works and finishing activities will bring the sanitation facilities to completion.
At CLADS Construction, we believe that quality infrastructure begins with sound engineering practices. Every stage of this project is being executed with strict adherence to technical specifications, quality assurance procedures and industry best practices to deliver safe, durable and sustainable WASH infrastructure that will benefit both the school and the wider Kaselema Community for years to come.
Follow our journey as we document each stage of construction—from substructure works to the completed facilities—and showcase the engineering that transforms communities.
Engineering sustainable infrastructure. Building healthier communities.
