Hiiii, I'm excited to share my take on the viral mango bango from TikTok, a recipe I'm totally obsessed with! It's like the classic mango sago but with an extra twist of coconut jelly, which I managed to get from this shop called Little Fino (not sponsored, by the way). I made sure to stock up on it, just in case I run out. Haha!
Let me tell you, making this delightful treat is not only quick and easy but also yields the most refreshing and delicious result! Trust me, it’s a game-changer!
I've whipped up this countless times, and each time it's a hit!
Here's how you can make it:
Ingredients:
2 ripe mangoes (or 1 if large), peeled and diced
1/2 cup small tapioca pearls (sago)
1/2 jar Nata de Coco (coconut jelly)
4 cups water
1/2 cup coconut milk
1/2 cup full cream milk
1 cup condensed milk
Instructions:
Start by boiling water in a pot. Once it reaches a boil, add the tapioca pearls and let them cook for about 10 minutes.
Once cooked, remove the pot from the heat, cover it, and let it sit for another 15 minutes.
Drain and rinse the cooked sago in cold water.
Peel and cut the mangoes into cubes.
In a large bowl, mix together the diced mangoes, tapioca pearls, drained Nata de Coco, condensed milk, full cream milk, and coconut milk. Adjust the sweetness by adding more condensed milk if desired.
Give everything a good mix and pop it in the refrigerator for a few hours to chill.
When you're ready to serve, dish it out cold and enjoy.
Hope you enjoy making and indulging in this as much as I do! Let me know how it turns out for you! 💛
