✨ Induction & Gala Dinner ✨

A night to remember for the Bailliage of Mauritius. The 20th of September marked a milestone as we welcomed our newly appointed Bailli Délégué, the new Managing Committee, and freshly inducted members into the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs.

The evening began with an elegant procession led by Mrs. Shabnam Nayer, Member of the Conseil Magistral and Inducting Officer, who administered the oath and formally received each inductee.

🎶 A stirring musical interlude by cellist Anna Chauveau-Dhayan and mezzo-soprano Caroline Villain filled the hall, setting the tone for a truly memorable celebration.

Guests then savoured an exquisite culinary journey featuring brown butter risotto with seared prawns and truffle coulis, confit fish filet with furikake crust, roasted lamb loin, and a decadent molten chocolate dessert, each course thoughtfully paired with fine wines from Vinalia Trading Ltd and Seaboxx Ltd.

Our deepest gratitude to Mrs. Nayer, the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs International Headquarters in Paris, and the wonderful team at Trou aux Biches Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa for hosting us once again.

To our distinguished guests and members, thank you for making this evening a resounding success. Here’s to many more moments of camaraderie, gastronomy, and joie de vivre.

Surrounded by the tranquil beauty of the lagoon, members and guests enjoyed an evening of exquisite cuisine, fine wines, and the warm camaraderie that defines the Chaîne. 🍷🍽️🌊

The rich reds, yellows and greens of the Ginger Thai offered a wonderful journey across Thailand through its carefully curated menu.

Each bite was reminiscent of splendidly authentic Thai cuisine.

We thank our wine suppliers Scott Mauritius and Vinalia Trading for the wine pairings and we also thank Hilton Mauritius Resort & Spa for an amazing event.
