Traditional Gozitan Cusine which is slow cooked in our stone oven that was built in 1900 with every dish reflecting our commitment to tradition, sustainability and the simple pleasure of sharing honest, locally sourced food. The bakery in its self is a Maltese landmark. The wood burning stone oven has been fired up cooking food for over a century and is still in operation till this day. The Restau

rant specialises in local traditional and homemade cuisine cooked in the old stone oven while using recipes which have been in the family for generations. The restaurant uses locally grown produce to cook in typical seasonal dishes along with making their wine from their own vine yard. Tal-Furnar also offers demonstrations of sour dough bread and Gozitan Ftira making were the guests get to see and take part in the process of making these local delicacies.
