✨ A Taste of Tradition, Reinvented at Il-Logga ✨

We recently had the pleasure of welcoming Mr. Olaf Deharde for a private gastronomy session at Il-Logga Boutique Hotel & Restaurant. Guided by our talented chef, Christof Bigeni, Olaf explored kawlata — a traditional Maltese hearty soup known for its rich combination of vegetables and pork — beautifully reimagined with a modern twist.

In the video, Chef Christof walks through the ingredients, the inspiration behind this contemporary interpretation of kawlata, and how Maltese culinary heritage continues to influence his creativity in the kitchen. Sharing dishes with such deep cultural roots is always a pleasure.

It was truly an honour to introduce Olaf to something so traditional yet innovatively prepared, and we’re delighted he captured this unique experience on video.
