about us...
We are Giulia and Aleksandar, we met here in Malta through a series of funny coincidences and haven't parted since. We are like the sun and the moon, day and night, fast and slow ... but we work. We share a passion for music, books and everything that warms your soul and we decided to put this all in a space where we can it can be shared with those who have helped us along the way and those we are yet to meet. In 2021 we welcomed the newest member of our family, baby Luna. She is a little ball of energy and cuteness that has turned our life upside down and made it so much more interesting. We are now a funky trio and you’ll often find us all at Pole Pole, where we like to spend our time with the wonderful people that we have been blessed to cross paths with. Sometimes we open late, sometimes we forget things, we are often tired and sometimes grumpy… but bear with us because we love every inch of this little cave and the people that gravitate around it. So far it’s been great and we look forward to meeting more people and creating new connections, because life is just so much better when shared with those you love.“Pole pole” is a Swahili expression meaning “slowly slowly”.
