I was raised in a blue collar, very hard working family. My father is a coal miner, like 90% of other men in my home town, my mom is a teacher in a college where 9 out of 10 boys of town learning how to become miners and not suprisenetly I gaduated this college and became an addition to our underground working class (not for too long thanks God)😅
🤓Don’t get me wrong! I’m not going waste your time telling some random facts about my life but I believe It’s important to the context.
One of my biggest insparation of my childhood was my babushka Alla (my granny)👵.She was also a blue collar worker but she would always amaze me as a kid how fast she could read and even though I hated to read myself I would aways be happy to listen a story from one of hundreds of books she’ve collected in her home library. She always said that books are very important for her from very early age as it trains your brain to think out of box.
My biggest dream as a kiddo was to write a book for her to make her proud🥰. Well, to be honest as a child I thought I would write something on a level of Dostoevsky but last year I was still super excited to presented her my almost ready e-book on my phone. It was a magical moment looking back, but what made it a bit sour is the fact my e-book can’t stay on her shelf so another unplanned idea crossed my mind🤔
2 years ago when we decided to make a cook book I was absolutly against printed version as it really adds a lot of hassle with printing, distribution and logistics. And trust me I was so right ahhaha, I will post later on some epic fails we received from some printing shops🌚 BUT all this additional challenges we faced were all worth it!
🥺Now, 3 days before it is being released feels so special for me❤️
Unfortunately, my grandma passed away a less then a year ago and I want to dedicate this book for her. Thank you for teaching me how to think out of the box 👵
