Il- Kartell is one of the first standalone restaurants in Marsalforn Bay and has truly been a family affair since its inception in the early nineteen seventies. Our concept is simple, It’s really about using as much of what we can source locally and freshly to deliver you a supreme experience in local and Mediterranean cuisine. In particular We are delighted to be able to offer fresh fish on a daily basis, caught from our families vessels and from the shore exclusively for Il-Kartell. Il-Kartell remains, somewhat of a local cornerstone in the world of dining and leisure, the foundations of our kitchen and restaurant are built amongst the original structures of three boat houses and it is this opening chapter of the Il-Kartell story that we have returned to in our
efforts and passion to deliver you the very best in casual dining by the sea. You will find our menu offers a wide variety of wholesome soups, fresh salads, creative light dishes, platters and antipasto and sumptuous fish, meat, poultry and game combinations suitable for both lazy lunches and relaxed evening suppers.
