This hostel features many old traditional statues and puppets, the atmosphere at ShannKalay will give you a great feeling of Myanmar if it is your first day in Yangon. named Botataung Paya and Botataung Jetty(for sunset) (10min walking)from the hostel. And it is far 6 km from the Shwedagon Pagoda, the largest pagoda in Myanmar. Pansodan ferry terminal is 2 km away. And Sule Paya ,city hall,beautiful and old colonial buildings(20min walking). Yangon Central Railway Station and Yangon International Airport are 1.5 km and 17.7 km away from the property. And there are many local bus stops(YBS....) near by the hostel.
