Day 6 – Farewell Breakfast
Our last morning started with a warm Berber omelette — caramelized onions, juicy tomatoes, rich cumin, and fluffy eggs all coming together in the most comforting way.
Jules and I said our goodbyes with full hearts (and full bellies).

What an adventure it’s been — between mountains and sea, sharing culture, traditions, and stories. And what better way to connect than through food?

But this isn’t goodbye, just *à bientôt*. The journey through Morocco is far from over — who knows what the next adventure will bring? Maybe a desert sunrise, a hidden village, or a rooftop feast under the stars?

Day 5: A Taste of Stillness

Started the day with a dreamy eggs Benedict topped with our home-cured Atlas trout—rich, silky, and full of flavor. Safe to say, it set the tone perfectly.

With that kind of start, we decided to take the rest of the day off from cooking and soak in the beauty around us. We wandered through peaceful organic farms, each one a quiet retreat of greenery and inspiration.

The afternoon? Pure magic. A slow, sun-drenched lunch at one of Morocco’s most iconic wineries—local wines, stunning views, and flavors that felt like a love letter to the land

Some days are about creating. Today was about receiving. Grateful for the stillness, the flavors, and the beauty all around us.

Day 4: A Delicious Start and a Culinary Journey Through History

What an amazing start to our day! We kicked things off with my absolute favorite breakfast, khlea and eggs, fragrant with fresh cumin. There’s nothing like the rich, savory flavors of khlea to fuel a busy day ahead.

Then it was straight into the kitchen for a full day of cooking. Inspired by the deep ties between Portugal and Morocco, we honored Portuguese culinary tradition by preparing a beautiful Cataplana. But true to our roots, we gave it a Moroccan soul cooking it not in the traditional copper clam-shaped pot, but in a handmade copper tajine from Fez. A perfect symbol of how history, culture, and flavor come together in one pot.

Blending heritage and heart, this dish told a story — and it tasted just as good as it sounds!
