Nomad feels like the place you always dreamt you would find in the Marrakech Medina. With a timeless unassuming design evoking an aura of the late 50s to early 60s, it is unpretentious yet chic. On initial approach you encounter the street level shop, a collaboration between Nomad and local design label Chabi Chic, offering beautifully packaged quality spices, oils and purposefully designed

house/kitchen wear used by the restaurant itself. An open kitchen beckons you in beyond the shop to follow the stairs up to the restaurant reception area and intimate dinning rooms. Above these you discover the 2 levels of terraces with fantastic views of the spice square, the old slave square and the Kotoubia, as well as the Atlas mountain range (when visible between November and May). The cuisine is Modern Moroccan, with a menu based on local produce and spices, focusing on freshness and simplicity and offering enough variety to keep it interesting for vegetarians, carnivores and pescetarians alike. Nomad is a perfect place for both lunch and dinner, or to simply repose from the hussle and bussle of the souks and have a much needed drink.

Nomad, un restaurant Marocain moderne situé près de la place des épices, est
l'endroit que vous avez toujours rêvé de trouver à Marrakech. Son design
intemporel et modeste lui donne l'aura d'avoir existé depuis la fin des années 50 ou le début des années 60, sans prétention mais raffinement chics. la boutique au niveau de la rue est une fusion entre Nomad et le design local de conception Chabi Chic, où l'on trouve des épices de qualité joliment emballés, des huiles et des ustensiles de cuisine, utilisé aussi par notre restaurant. Aussi, la cuisine ouverte au niveau du sol invite les clients de la boutique à
suivre les escaliers jusqu'à la réception du restaurant et à découvrir les salles à manger. Au-dessus, les deux niveaux de terrasses offrent une vue fabuleuse sur la place des épices, la place de la vieille esclave et la Koutoubia, ainsi que la chaîne de l'Atlas (visible entre Novembre et Mai). Le menu est ancré dans la gastronomie marocaine traditionnelle avec des soupçons d'influence du Moyen-Orient. L'accent est mis sur la fraîcheur et la simplicité avec une sélection variée de plats au menu pour attiser la gourmandise de tous. Le matin pour des pâtisseries fraîches et un bon café, pour le déjeuner et le dîner ou à tout moment de la journée que ce soit pour une petite bouchée, une boisson ou pour se délecter de la vue, le café des épices vous accueille à bras ouverts.
