Bootcamp 🇪🇬 - Part 1

I am so grateful to have been selected for the ETENA Accelerator, joining 10 rural and sustainable tourism founders from Morocco, Egypt and Tunisia for a bootcamp in Hurghada 🇪🇬 Organized by and supported by the , this program came at exactly the right time. I was feeling stuck in day-to-day operations and truly needed to step away from the farm to focus on the strategy and scaling of Green Akal.

The bootcamp was a perfect balance of professional growth, cultural immersion and human connections. It is so refreshing to form a community that shares the same values and commitment to responsible tourism (moving beyond marketing buzzwords to focus on real impact and authenticity)

A huge thank you to the ETENA team and all the partners for this opportunity. A special thank you also goes to through whom I first learned about this program.

I can’t wait for the second bootcamp coming up soon inshallah!

A glimpse into the traditional cooking class my Mom and I host at our farm near Agadir 🇲🇦

This video feels extra special not only because of Aniek and her mom with whom we shared very special moments, but also because of the person behind the lens 📹
mov first joined us as a guest during Ramadan for a cooking experience and before leaving, he offered to come back another day and capture the soul of the farm through his own lenses and for free !! Ain’t that beautiful ?

So grateful for encounters like these that make me believe in what we do even more and more 😊 Thank you .mov 🙏

We often talk about « cultural/religous differences, » but honestly? When it comes to family bonds, you only see similarities 😊

Aniek and her mother joined us from the Netherlands for a cooking class at the farm, and it was such a beautiful day 🥰 Two mothers and two daughters, coming together, sharing stories, laughter, and a constant stream of « me too » moments 😂

The most beautiful part was observing our mothers understanding each other without a common verbal language 🤗

A beautiful reminder that motherhood is a universal language of its own ❤️ One that’s felt, not spoken 😊

A beautiful day with a beautiful family 🥰 sharing moments in the kitchen, around the farm and simply enjoying the day together 😊

And the sweetest surprise… before leaving, the girls made me handmade gifts 😍 A thoughtful gesture that really touched my heart 🥰

A family day at Green Akal Ecofarm 🇬🇧🇲🇦

You book a combo package (cooking class and mud brick workshop) and you end up with a day full of memories that stays with you 🤩

Cooking ourdoors with a moroccan family, enjoying the farm free animals, feeding baby lambs with kitchen scrabs, getting the hands (and feet!) into the mud and learning a lot about moroccan culture/traditions 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒❤️ All authentic and refreshing !!😊
