Story behind Caffe Casa . As a child I grew up in Rome and was fascinated by the passion Italians have for coffee, so much so, you would think that they discovered it! They didn’t. To make up for this, however, they have invented a coffee culture unequalled anywhere else in the world. Living in Italy for so many years inspired me to create my own traditional Italian coffee shop with a modern twist, which serves premium authentic Italian roasted coffee beans. Being a young entrepreneur at the time, I had a dream of making my coffee shop an international name and began looking for the right market to begin my business. After doing my research I found that Libya would be a good starting ground since Libya is a country that is very influenced by Italian culture & trends. This is how Caffe Casa was born, I named it Caffe Casa, in Italian it means “House of coffee”, to give it the spirit of an Italian coffee shop . I opened my first outlet in Tripoli in 2005 and later grew to 10 outlets all over Libya. Today Caffe Casa has opened its first outlet in Istanbul, Turkey and will expand around the Middle East and North Africa in the near future.
