Introducing Timor Leste Raimutin!

From Ermera, one of Timor-Leste’s key coffee producing regions, Raimutin is a full & creamy espresso with notes of prunes, brown spices, hazelnut and dark chocolate.

Coffee plays an important role in Timor-Leste, with around 37% of households depending on it for income. Since 2018, our partner Raw Material has operated Raimutin Wet Mill in Atsabe, creating a central hub where coffee from producers across the region is purchased, processed and dried.

This coffee is part of an ongoing effort to build a stronger and more sustainable coffee sector in Timor-Leste.

Hacienda La Esmeralda in Panama is one of the farms that shaped modern specialty coffee by revealing the extraordinary potential of the Geisha variety.

For the World Brewers Cup, our barista selected two exceptional Geisha lots from Hacienda La Esmeralda: 70% Cabaña and 30% Noria. Each coffee was roasted separately before being blended into the final competition blend, allowing each lot to fully express its individual character before coming together in harmony.

The result is a cup with notes of floral honey, mandarin, tropical fruit, peach, jasmine and black tea, changing as it cools and revealing new flavours with every sip.

Now you can experience it as a hand brew in our cafés or take it home in one of just 130 tins, each including the competition recipe, tasting notes and the story behind this exceptional release.

Same origin. Different flavour. Why?

More often than not, the answer lies in the processing.
Meet our latest arrivals from Shyira, Rwanda - a washing station located 2,000 metres above sea level.

Shyira Natural -
With notes of berry jam, caramel, milk chocolate and grapes. In the natural process, the coffee dries inside the whole cherry, developing a sweet and fruity taste.

Shyira Washed -
With notes of citrus fruits, dark chocolate, green tea and floral honey. In the washed process, the fruit is removed before drying, resulting in a light and juicy cup.
