Halės Smokehouse OG version of New York’s famous food icon:

Pastrami on rye sandwich - sliced pastrami on rye bread, served with mustard and dill pickles. Wikipedia

It was created in 1888 by the Lithuanian immigrant Sussman Volk, who served it at his deli in Manhattan.
