We continue to grow and deepen the experience we create for our guests, and with that, it’s time to expand our team.

We’re looking for a chef who cares about more than what happens in the kitchen. Someone who understands that great hospitality goes beyond the kitchen, and that every detail shapes the experience our guests take home with them.

We’re looking for motivation, curiosity, and a desire to grow—not just someone to fill a position.

We are currently looking for a Commis Chef and Chef de Partie.
Salary range: €1,000–€1,600 NET, depending on experience and expertise.
Fluency in English is required.

Foraging with purpose

In the days leading up to Saint John’s Eve, we collected Rosa rugosa petals in the Curonian Spit. Although its fragrant pink flowers are one of the scents of summer by the sea, this rose is an invasive species that threatens native dune habitats.

Local conservationists encourage picking the flowers, which can be transformed into drinks, syrups, ferments, and more, while helping limit its spread.

Simbolinę kovo 11 d. restorano „Nineteen18“ virtuvei pradėjo vadovauti šefė Vita Bartininkaitė. Šis sugrįžimas į „Senatorių pasaže“ įsikūrusį restoraną žymi naują etapą tiek „Michelin“ žvaigždę pelniusiam restoranui, tiek pačiai šefei, vystančiai miesto istorija bei lokaliomis praktikomis paremtą gastronomijos kryptį.

V. Bartininkaitės profesinis kelias prasidėjo būtent „Nineteen18“ virtuvėje, kurioje ji per keletą metų tapo tuometinio šefo dešiniąja ranka. Vėliau sekusi stažuotė trijų „Michelin“ žvaigždučių restorane „Geranium“ (Kopenhaga) padėjo suformuoti požiūrį į lokalumu paremtą gastronomiją - dėl jos pripažinimą vėliau pelnė ir V. Bartininkaitės įkurto „Pas mus“ restorano meniu, taip pat dvejus metus iš eilės įvertintas „Michelin“ žvaigžde.

On the symbolic date of March 11th - Lithuania Independence Restoration Day - chef Vita Bartininkaitė took the helm of the Nineteen18 kitchen. This return to the restaurant, located in Senatorių Pasažas, marks a new chapter for both the Michelin-starred establishment and the chef herself, who is developing a culinary direction rooted in city history and local practices.

Bartininkaitė’s professional journey began in the very same Nineteen18 kitchen, where she became the former head chef’s right hand over the course of several years. A subsequent internship at the three-Michelin-starred Geranium (Copenhagen) helped shape her approach to locality-based gastronomy. This philosophy later earned recognition for the menu of Pas mus, a restaurant founded by Bartininkaitė, which was also awarded a Michelin star for two consecutive years.

Po trumpos pertraukos kovo viduryje Nineteen18 atvers duris su nauja vizija, kurią kurs Vita Bartininkaitė su komanda. Rezervacijų sistema nesikeičia.

Tuo tarpu Andrius Kubilius pradeda naują projektą Trakų g. 14, kurio atidarymas numatytas balandžio pradžioje.
