Stay Golden is a hotel located at a beautiful spot directly at the beach of Arugam Bay, SL. It's sur We also offer two double rooms with an ensuite bathroom.

The hotel is directly on the beach and consists of five private cabanas with ensuite bathrooms. 3 cabanas have a double and single bed and can accommodate 3 guests and 2 cabanas are double. All cabanas and rooms come with airconditioning and were built in 2019. The Stay Golden beach restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. We put emphasis on a healthy mix of traditional Sri Lankan and wester

n dishes at affordable prices. At our rooftop Yoga shala with sea view, we offer daily classes for all levels. Stay Golden is perfect for everyone who is looking for a special spot in Arugam Bay: It is located in nature at an endless, empty beach. At the same time, you reach the busy and buzzy town center within a couple of minutes walking. To the surf spot Main Point it's also just 5-10 minutes by foot on the beachside.

Hi all! It's been quiet here at our page. We hope you're well, and that the year treated you nicely so far!

In Arugam Bay, the season kicked off not too bad. After May, with all the new developments in Sri Lanka on political and economical level, tourism slowed down a lot. Though, after 2 long years of pandemic, we finally were able to welcome many of you at our little slice of paradise. Here are some impressions of 2022.

Sunsets. Palms. Beach.

We love the golden hour before the sun sets. It’s the time of the day where the sun is not so hot anymore. Walking at our wide, empty beach in front of Stay Golden is the best. The sound of the waves are your background music. Tropical island life.

What a year!

As crazy as everything is all over the world, with these unexpected changes, the Sri Lankan way of living helps. Every day is different. The sun will shine. Live in the now. Things will pass. Have a cup of tea. New opportunities will come up.

Blessed, we took the time to focus on family. Very soon, we will be a family of three. 🧡🧡🧡

Surfing season in Arugam Bay is starting. Luckily, Sri Lanka is slowly opening up for tourism and lifting restrictions.
