Our main goal at Polos Negombo is to offer a range of real authentic food based on the product of the jackfruit tree, named the 'Rice Tree of the Nation'(ජාතියේ බත් ගස ) adding flavour to the traditional local style. In addition
to jackfruit/polos/jackfruit seed / ripe jackfruit, there are also low- calorie healthy foods made from manioc, / breadfruit / sweet potato and local rice such as redraw rice and some rare foods such as polos burger/polos kottu / manioc kottu. Under the "Home Method" theme, Street Foods/snacks/pastries, as well as popular 70s sweets such as Negombo Cashew Aluva / Bibikkam / Saw Dodol and also ayurvedic porridges and drinks, are among them. We also introduce a range of products such as Jackfruit Chips / Murukku / Jackfruit seed milk powder / Jackfruit Posha which are dehydrated and prepared without toxic chemicals to the people of Negombo.
