Well hello folks 👋 we have been away for a while and now back in Cornwall trying our best to get ready for another year here at Off The Path Coffee Co but unfortunately the weather is definitely not on our side.
So we have been doing what we can in between the storms and constant mizzle 🙄 and making the most of having some time to be inspired by new yummy items coming to our menu 😋
Not long now ! Just you wait the rain will stop, the sun will shine and so will we 😁

Donna’s post !!!!
The last couple of days we have spent in Sigiriya and what a beautiful place it is. The weather has been very tropical with high humidity and over 30 degree heat with the odd burst of jungle rain. That has totally described our today as we set off hiking upto Lions Rock in Sigiriya.
All started off fine but as we approached the entrance the jungle rain began so soaked we were but as intrepid adventurers we continued 😂
The rock itself is an impressive geological masterpiece 😲
I did manage to get to the top (as the photos prove) going up both the original stone stairs and the added metal stair case hanging off the shear cliff face of the rock !!!!!
This is not for the faint hearted or if like me, hating bridges and heights 🙈🙈. I mastered the up with great enthusiasm but failed miserably with the decent 😱(a tale to be told when talking of our adventures in the future 🤪)
Luckily the hot Sri Lankan sun came out once again so we were able to cool off back in the pool at our Sigiriya jungle lodge which we highly recommend 👍😊

Today our day consisted of being taught how to cook authentic Sri Lanka dishes by the lovely Loveena from Loveena’s guest house and restaurant here in Goyambokka Sri Lanka.
A great cook and great teacher. We got to eat our spoils and must say …. Delicious!!! So much food though !
A great afternoon spent with Loveena and her family. Her boys do her proud.
If your in Sri Lanka would highly, highly recommend coming here to stay and best of all try Loveena’s cooking from her restaurant 😋🥰🙏

Morning of meeting and having coffee with these two beautiful people. The young couple who run Lucky_charm_restaurant here in Goyambokka Tangalle Sri Lanka 😍
They have only been open for the past 3 months and looking forward to an amazing future. They have such enthusiasm and charm and certainly are so welcoming to their guests.
Situated on the main coast road into Tangalle and only minutes walk away from the beautiful beach of Goyambokka also known locally as Paradise beach, which I have say is the best beach so far an our travels around Sri Lanka.
Please give these guys a like and follow and a must visit when here. We wish them every success for the future 🥰

To all our family,friends and customers of Off The Path Coffee Co, we wish thank you all for your love and support over the last year and wish everyone good health and happiness in 2026 !!!

In November 2025, We were blessed with our new addition to the family, Indie who is a little treasure and now smiling away loving life with her amazing Mummy and Daddy (Amie and Barnaby 😍)

Well as many of you know, we are currently away travelling, immersing ourselves in new cultures and indulging in local food and drinks. Travel is a fantastic way of being truly inspired by new flavours, designs and ideas.

We have visited and indulged in many coffee and tea places and swapped food ideas with the local hospitality owners in both Nepal and Sri Lanka, all of which we hope to bring to our business over the coming year and we are so looking forward to sharing it all with you.

So look out for new things in 2026 !!!

Sending much love to everyone and we shall see you and welcome you all back when reopen every soon 😘

Well that’s wrap for 2025 season !!
Off The Path Coffee Co is now closed for the winter period and shall reopen in 2026 !!!
We would like to thank everyone that has visited and supported us throughout this season.
We love that we have so many of you repeatedly visit us year after year and we continue to look forward to you visiting us again very soon.

We would also like to thank all of our suppliers who support us tirelessly and provide us with most amazing local products. We look forward to working with them all again in 2026.

It’s been a long hard season for us this year (we are definitely not getting any younger 🙈) but also a very exciting one with the anticipated arrival of our first grandchild, due any time now 😲🙏 so we are finishing now to spend time with her before we go off on our winter adventures.

We are sending you all much love and wishing you a wonderful time over (dare I say this) the Christmas period.

May you all be happy and healthy.
