Daily wages of a tea harverster are about 400 rupees. Women usually earn 30% less than men while doing the same job. It's often insufficiant to live with decency. The complete oversight of the supply chain allows us to greatly increase thoses wages, while guaranteeing income equality between men and women. We hope that such practices spread in all neighboring plantations, improving the lives of many local workers.
