Rooibos Cape of Good Hope

This not a tea harvested from the Camelia Sanseis, Rooibos comes from South Africa. It is essentially an herbal tea. Rooibos contains no caffeine.
In this blend we have added vanilla essences, cloves, orange peels, blue cornflowers and marigold Petals

One would confuse this tea with any fine Yunnan red Tea. This visually attractive tea is produced in the Uva district. This an artisanal tea manufactured at a larger orthodox tea Factory.

The director of the tea group had the foresight, a few years back to diverse toward more exclusive specialized teas. Some of those teas are now marketed and sold in China. This tea has a light smoked flavor.

Yunnan Red Tea

Dainhong Red tea is an ancient tea from Yunnan China. In China black teas are usually call red teas. This one is a leafy tippy tea with a red golden appearance and a slightly smoked flavor. The infusion is also reddish in color.

Daihong teas are considered as some of the best black teas in the world.

Yunnan province is in China. Yunnan does claim to have some of the oldest growing tea plants some are reputed to be over 1000 years old Which therefore give it a “Mother” land of tea for the world aura, especially around it’s present teas and production of tea. While I am not sure this is completely true, tea most certainly originated and was first drunk in China over 5000 years ago.

Lover’s Leap Pekoe

This single estate tea received its name for being situated near a waterfall where lovers would throw themselves over their sadness for not allowed to marry one another.

This Tea is processed at the Pedro Tea Factory in Nuwara Eliya under the name Lovers Leap or Mahagastota according to the broker marketing the product. It is a tea grown high. At this altitude, the plantation sits among the clouds. They are light in character, Sometime comparable to Darjeeling teas.

While considered a black tea but because of the leaves green and brown undertones, this tea is classified a bright light.
