MEHFIL brings together celebrated artists from India and Sri Lanka for an evening of timeless Bollywood melodies.
Representing India, Prakash Babu is a renowned playback singer with 38 years of global stage experience, known for his renditions of Kishore Kumar classics and collaborations with legends including Shankar Mahadevan and S. P. Balasubrahmanyam. Joining him is Ash*tha, a three-time consecutive Kerala State Music Competition winner and vibrant performer who has captivated audiences with the timeless songs of Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhosle for over 28 years.
Representing Sri Lanka, Heshan Gamage is an internationally acclaimed musician, composer, educator, music director and playback singer with over 20 years of experience. Alongside him is Nelka Thilini, an award-winning playback singer, voice trainer and stage performer—winner of Best Playback Singer at the SIGNIS Salutation 2023 and a finalist of Sirasa Super Star Season 7.
