Initiated with the support of AAT (Alliance Anti Trafic), a small café and craft store, Made in Mekong, is a social enterprise that serves quality, locally produced beverages and sells locally made creative crafts from the SIX-countries along the Greater Mekong Sub-Region to both locals and foreigners. Not only aimed at filling our little space with products that have stories behind them(i.e. stories of lives in the community, stories of unique cultures from various villages, stories from local fabrics, and stories of empowered women’s groups who get together to create something great for a living), Made in Mekong is also a place that focuses on providing opportunities for local women and youth to develop their work skills and create a brighter future. In addition, the venue itself can be used for conducting casual, yet inspiring group activities and an exchange of ideas.
