for my next project, I am restoring this lovely table that Venus' friend gave to us. It had been left out in the weather and became so damaged that it took quite a bit of sanding to remove all of the old finish and water damage. I'll strip the rest of the old finish and bless on her with five or six coats of lacquer.

we have lots of beautiful hard-wood furniture that we have acquired over the years, and now I am working to restore them preserving the natural color of the wood with clear lacquer. I mean, why would you want to cover this gorgeous wood with paint or colored stain?

Again, I am blessed to have witnessed a miracle. Jackie and Shadow had a second clutch of eggs after the first were sadly destroyed by a raven. And today the first eaglet has hatched. Egg number two has a very large PIP and will be becoming along soon.
