Hey folks, pizza night is back. This will be the fourth one, I think. I'm trying out some new recipes (Carnitas and Chicken Tikka Masala), so I'm trying to get more weird with it. I'll post the menu in the comments below. As always, I strongly encourage pre-orders, as it reduces wait times. Even though pizza is the best food that was ever invented, I may try to do something other than pizza in a few weeks, so keep your eyes peeled.

Hey folks, we'll be having the regular TRIVIA NIGHT on Friday, but at 10:30. I think that's the new time. 11 is just too late, I think. Hope to see you there!

We're bringing back PIZZA NIGHT this Saturday too. I learned a lot from the first time, so we're doing it differently this time. Last time, we sold out before the first pizza went in the oven, but there were no time slots.
1. This time, we'll have 7 time slots per hour from 8-12. So if you want to eat around 9, just reserve the 9 o'clock hour, and I'll do my best to get it to you before 10.
2. I've simplified the menu a bit this time. I can mix and match ingredients and quote you a price if you want. If you want a vegan pizza, bring me vegan cheese and I'll make it for you. The menu's always going to be a bit different, so feel free to let me know if there's a topping combo you're craving.
3. I'll also have an assistant, so hopefully that will streamline things a bit more.
4. Last time, since we sold out, people showed up and didn't get a pizza. Some customers ended up ordering Pizza Hut. (Sorry, guys!) I cannot emphasize how important pre-orders are lol, but I'm making more dough this time and reserving some pizzas for walk-in customers. I'll only take 20 pre-orders.

What's the craic, fellow Irish people? That's right. Everyone gets a pass to be insufferably Irish on St. Paddy's Day! It's unlikely we'll be able to celebrate it next Tuesday, because we have "jobs" and "responsibilities," so we'll celebrate it this Saturday at Fiddlers' Pub. Come by for the specials, and stay until you hear the first glass break, because that means it's time to go home. We'll have free food while it lasts - and I promise you that it will not last.

This is also one of the few times you'll ever see unlimited Guinness on the menu. If you're a bit...particular and you can't bear the thought of your majesty's precious lips touching a plastic cup, I suggest you bring your own vessel. A Stanley tumbler is perfect. Unlimited booze is like a monkey paw wish; you have to give up something in exchange. You know, like you ask for the ability to fly, but the monkey paw only gives you a commercial pilot's license. It's exactly like that, except with a plastic cup, because we simply don't have enough glassware or a full-time dish washer. Thanks in advance for your understanding.

Hey folks. Wanted to start by saying thanks to everyone who came out for the pizza night last weekend! I sold out before the first pizza went in the oven. There are some kinks with the reservation system that we'll work out before next time (3/21?). I'll probably do a different style next time as well. If you haven't paid yet, please do so (or we WILL find you).

On to business: We have Trivia on Friday. It'll be the same ol' thing it always is (fun). We had 6 teams last time and it was a mighty close one. Scores will be settled this Friday! See you there.

Hey folks. Good news! This Saturday at 9pm, we'll be hosting a pizza pop-up run by...me (Josh). Making pizzas is one of my hobbies and I've finally found a way to bring it to Fiddlers' every few weeks (I bought a deck oven). I don't want to oversell it, but it's pretty darn good. This is a soft launch, so I'll only make about 10-15 pizzas this time. If we sell out, I'll make more next time. The pizzas are about about 30cm/12in, so enough for sharing or solitary consumption. The menu will change every time I do it, so I'll usually have the usual suspects and a specialty or two.

Hi folks. We've got Trivia Night on again this Friday. We've been having a decent showing, like 5 teams...but 6 or 7 teams would really spice things up. Anyway, do you best to win top prize (30,000won bar tab). There's 2nd and 3rd place prizes too, but whatever. You don't want those. You want to be the best. I can see it in your eyes.

We'll be doing stuff on Valentine's day as well. More details on specials next week.

Lastly, we're gonna maybe try to do a big ol' secret event at the end of the month. It's probably not something you'll want to miss...but if it goes well, then you know, we can do it again, etc. Low expectations are the key to a happy life!

Do you know we have an instagram? Check it out for updates. Honestly, no one uses Facebook much anymore, and that's the way it should be. What a nightmare. If it were up to me, I'd probably be off the grid and send you all carrier pigeons to let you know what was up. I'd live in the woods, and my nearest neighbors would live 5 kilometers away. I'd garden, bake bread, have some cats, and I'd write an upsetting political manifesto. I'd die of a stroke or heart attack in peace, and no one would find me for months. I'll tell you what I wouldn't do. I wouldn't subject myself to the mad fantasies of every tech billionaire bent on running their own little panopticon...but we all have dreams, I guess.

We do Trivia Night every other Friday, and this Friday just happens to be that night. Teams of up to 6 people battle it out to see who knows the most useless information...and you can win a bar tab or booze in the process. Thanks to everyone who still comes, despite me creating adverts with increasingly weird images...but if I see a painting of an octopus cowboy riding a horse in the desert, I feel like that needs to be seen by other people too. Thanks for your attention to this matter.

Howdy, folks. We got to 2026 and we're all entering winter mode, but feel free to join us this weekend.
FRIDAY: Trivia Night. As always, first place gets a 30k tab, second place gets 15k or shots for the table, and 3rd place gets whatever 2nd place doesn't want!
SATURDAY: We'll just be having a normal ol' night with a special on Jameson. If you ask nicely, I'll give it to you on Jim Beam too!

Big announcement: Until March, we're closing on Wednesdays and Thursdays. It's expensive to crank that heat up, and I really can't justify it. It's time to hibernate a bit.

Hey hey, it's that time again. We'll be running specials all night on New Year's Eve (Wednesday) and ordering some pizza at some point in the evening. Hope to see you guys there.

Quick notes:
We'll be closed on Thursday!!!
For January and February, we'll also be closing on Wednesday and Thursday, because it's simply too cold to exist and I need to hibernate.

Join us for our annual Christmas bash. We'll have some boozy homemade eggnog; a new minty, milky cocktail; and some warm winter drinks available (mulled wine and hot cider with a cinnamon kick). We'll also be doing Christmas Norebang/karaoke as the night progresses. Fiddlers' Karaoke has been a blast every time we've done it, so we'll be passing around the sign-up sheet throughout the evening. You don't have to be a good singer. In fact, people will probably like you more if you're not. That's the cruel, twisted nature of norebang.

We won't be open on Christmas day, as we'll be spending time with our loved ones, but on Christmas Eve, our loved ones can suck it. We'll open from 8 and I'll probably close it down between 12 and 1, because if I'm not asleep, Santa won't leave me any presents. Personally, I think Santa's monitoring of our behavior and sleeping patterns is overly paternalistic, bordering on the Orwellian, but the commercialization of every aspect of our lives has imbued me with an unquenchable thirst for material goods, so he makes the rules!
