You may think, as i once did, that i'm primarily in the business of serving good food. Actually, though, food is secondary to something that matters even more. In the end, what's most meaningful is creating positive, uplifting outcomes for human experiences and human relationships. it's that simple, and it's that hard.

나 자신도 한때 그런 생각을 가졌지만, 어떤 사람들은 내가 하는 일이 사람들에게 맛있는 음식을 접대하는 것이라고 생각할지도 모른다. 하지만 실제로 음식보다 더 중요한 것이 있다.

무엇보다 내가 중요하게 생각하는 것은 사람들이 보다 긍정적이고 즐거운 경험과 인간관계를 갖도록 도와주는 일이다.

사업은 사람들이 어떻게 느끼는지가 가장 중요하다. 그리고 그것은 간단한 것 같지만 아주 어려운 일이다.
