치인키를 설립한 이용훈 사장은 3년간 전국의 유명하다는 치킨집을 돌아다니며 먹고, 일하면서 얻은 노하우로 매일 집 부엌에서 치킨을 튀기며 연구를 거듭했습니다. 저희는 집 부엌에서 만들듯 매일 깨끗한 기름과 신선한 국내산 냉장닭만을 사용하며, 천연 허브와 국내산 야채만을 이용해 소스를 만듭니다. 치킨 무 또한 매일 매장에서 직접 담급니다. 부엌에서 만든 치킨요리를 추구한다고 해서 치킨 인 더 키친입니다. 이런 노력이 알려지면서 영국 BBC방송의 인기프로그램 Hairy Bikers에 소개되고, 채널A 먹거리 X파일에서 37호 착한식당으로 선정되는 등 여러 미디어에서 주목하는 치킨인더키친이 되었습니다.
