We present a Laphroaig tasting class.
In this session, we compare four representative expressions of Laphroaig.
Same distillery, different character depending on maturation style and intensity.
Laphroaig is a smoky Islay-style single malt whisky.
It is defined by iodine, sea breeze, and smoke, with sweetness and structure shifting depending on cask and aging.
We explore the following four expressions in this tasting.
The lineup starts with a lighter smoky layer and gradually builds in weight,
how would you compare the differences across maturation styles and cask types?
