Dear all of our precious customers.

I'm NaYeon Kim who are happily served your brunch for last 5weeks.

I want to say thank you again for all of our customers who spent your time at NY BRUNCH with us.

I've enjoyed every single moment at NY BRUNCH and being your cook. It was really great feeling to see all the customers who enjoying my food a lot and being so excited for Timo's bloody mary.

Last weekend, many of you asked us to let you know what will happen to NY BURNCH. I could feel that you really care. Thaks again.

SO... well... I really wanted to bring you a good news... something like the owner agreed with our deal or became generous suddenly..
But unfortunately we were getting kicked out by one phone call. We had to pack all our stuff immediately.
We can't be there anymore.. sorry...
If you want to be explained why we can't afford what the owner suggested... then It is simple. We haven't made any money from this business. Actually I've spent my salary to keep NY BRUNCH (I have real job fortunately). In this case what the owner asked was too much for us (or too much for anybody).

But it hasn't finished yet. Timo and I will look for a place for our own.
Maybe It will takes few weeks or months. No one knows... But for sure that will happen. I would love to ask you to come again to NY BRUNCH when we open again.

thanks for everything.. supporting me to try what I've wanted to, Waking up at 7am on weekends, Carrying all the stuff to third floor every time, Going to market instead of me, Driving all the way from SeongEup to Shinjeju at least 3days a week, Working there with me for free, not complaining about eating left over food as your breakfast lunch and dinner every single day, Making bloody mary which is making everybody excited about, Helping me to figure out I'm putting money there not making and taking care of our two little dogs when I couldn't be there with them.
Thanks a lot for supporting me, Timo. It was great feeling to work with you. You made me laugh and smile a lot while we were there.
Let's sleep till we get tired of sleeping this coming weekend. I will make brunch only for you :)

To our dearest customers,
We have an announcement to make: (WE NEED YOUR HELP_Please come this weekend and support us)

First of all, thanks again for all your support and love for us.

It has only been our 4th weekend of serving brunch and we already have regular customers!! That makes us feel so loved.
We do love having you at NY Brunch and seeing you eat so happily.

But unfortunately this weekend might be the last weekend of our brunch at MALT9.

I think it’s better not explain what happened specific because whatever they ask now thanks for MALT9 we could serve you there for 4weeks. The only thing I can tell you is this. Malt 9 went against their word and is now charging more than agreed upon to use the space. But we haven't make enough money to afford it. So from this weekend we have to make more money to pay for rent. (or maybe close the business)
So.. please come and support us.

For us, this business is just kind of a passion for NaYeon, a hobby.. Our food cost is actually really high. Because we use good ingredients. We haven’t mention this before. For NaYeon this is the way everybody should cook. so we didn't use this as our selling point. But now. If you need a reason why you need to come this weekend. I want to help you to know you will get healthy enough food.
Our eggs are from organic farms that free range their hens.
Our milk is organic – grass fed cows
Our butter is from New Zealand (Anchor butter_free range grass fed)
All the sugar used is organic cane sugar.
Do we use oil? Yes organic coconut oil.
Salt? 100% sea salt.
Peppers even in your bloodymary.. organic..
When we can, we always buy organic vegetables, but at least they are always non plasticized ones
We use exactly the same ingredients that we use for home cooking.
When we need to serve not healthy food like.. Sausages,hams,bacons,kettle chips… at least we use the most delicious one. You don't want that From E-mart right? ? So we use Western Brands made in USA and Canada (cost for shippng). When was the last time you found kettle chips in Jeju? Only at NY Brunch.
Our 1,500 potted coffee? Kenya AA (The menu says Starbucks morning blend, but Nayeon didn't really like it so changed it) Where else can you buy Kenya AA for 1500Won?
Last night we seriously considered not having this business. But we remembered all of your comments about how much you liked it. That made us change our mind and keep trying to make it work.
We will not change our ingredients and we won't change our prices, but we do need to make more money.

So, please spread the word to Koreans and friends. Furthermore, if it is okay to ask.... when you pay, cash is appreciated but cards are ok too, but we actually can save 13% of lose if you pay cash.

Please help us to keep this business and hobby. It's really fun for us to serve brunch. We asked Malt 9 to give us one more week to think about their new price. So, maybe June 14th and 15th would be our last weekend (hopefully not). It was fun while it lasted. We just want to make sure it will be okay to cover our expenses at least so we can continue this kind of hobby/business.

Do you think we are going to have enough customers to keep NY Brunch as an option?

(Timo speaking).... Every day I wish I could go here for the food, but I'm always working there :)

It's been really fun for us to work with the person we love the most in the world. So, it's been fun. I hope it stays that way. We don't need to make a lot of money, just enough to make sense to keep it going.

Thanks to you all again for coming out this weekend.
we set up a better system to cook and serve more quickly than before.

there were small but big changes. thanks to Sean, now you have toast with your NY BRUNCH instead of Salad. and thanks to Timo, you have kettle chips with your cranberry chicken salad sandwich.

A big thank you to all our friends and new customers for coming out and supporting us this weekend ^^

We were so happy that everybody was smiling so much. You waited so patiently when we were busy :)

After our first big weekend, we realized we need a helper in the kitchen so next time we will have an extra pair of hands to help us to serve you even better^^

plus, everything sold out! So that means some of you didnt get bloody marys or the chance to try our salmon avocado bruschetta :/

So we will make lots more and hope to see you again.
