Fish are born, fish are killed. I have become death, Destoyer of aquatic worlds. First, Olaf , a Norse fisherguy who identifies as anti-war Russian ( pronouns ‘your man there’) removes Todd the Cod from the cold artic sea. Secondly and ironically, dead Todd is then flash frozen. Delivered in a styrofoam coffin to Cullivan’s and unceremoniously de-boned, yes the backbone ripped from Todd’s flesh. Then we deep fry Todd’s disemboweled body in a tasty beer batter and serve him with screaming sliced potates, cabbage and carrots drowned in a quick sand of dressing, and a tangy homemade tatar sauce. Come eat Todd in Silence. Tomorrow was to be his birthday. Delicious.
