Thank you for always supporting our first food in Siem Reap
is a meal that strictly uses hands only – no dishes, spoons, forks, or knives. Diners instead "eating with the hands". The food is placed on top of a long banana leaf-lined table and bowls of water prepared on the side to wash hands before the “eating combat”. The “fight” part refers to slugging it out against each other and grabbing food before it runs out. Each for himself man, survival of the fittest kind of thing. If you don’t grab the food while it’s there, then you go hungry.
A senior officer or enlisted personnel then utters the traditional command for the boodle fight to begin: "Ready on the left, ready on the right, commence boodle fight!"
