Cooking Class at the restaurant “La Table Khmère”
La Table Khmère Cooking Class wants to offer the possibility to discover Cambodia’s
traditional cuisine and teach to the customers (mostly tourists) how to cook famous Khmer
dishes in a relaxed and friendly environment.
Open position: Cooking coach
We are looking for a person who loves cooking and teaching, with good English knowledge
and who does enjoy interacting with people.
Duties:
As Cooking Coach you will teach the customers who to cook famous Khmer dishes such as
amok, beef loc lac, spring rolls, green mango salad, and more.
You will have to prepare all needed ingredients for the daily class. Before the cooking class
starts, you will bring the customers to a local market and show them the different kind of
fruits and vegetables. After the visit to the market, you will start with the cooking class. You
will show to the customers, step by step, how to prepare a Khmer dish.
Working conditions:
• 8.30am to 1pm and 2.30pm to 7pm (9 hours per day) with 1 day off per week (not on weekends)
• 1 day off per week (excluding Fri/Sat/Sun)
• 21 days holidays starting after probation time of 3 months (pro rata)
• 2 meals per working day
• Accident insurance (24h)
• Monthly bonus according to performance
• Salary depending on experience and performance starting at 180$
