Our ACK Diocese of Nairobi , is pleased to announce the successful revival of the ACK Ruai Marathon, held at ACK Holy Innocent Church, Ruai. The event, which was attended by over 4700 people who participated from a registration of 10000 who supported by registering, was graced by Bishop Jonathan Kabiru, brought together clergy, congregants, corporate partners; , and community members in a powerful demonstration of faith, wellness, and generosity.

The Marathon had three race categories, Half Marathon 21km, 10km and 5km that were completed as follows and the winners awarded prizes.
21km: Gabriel Moses...1.13.31
10km: Jane Wanjiru..41:56.2
5km: Esther Andeso
Following this achievement, the Bishop declared the marathon an annual event, fully aligned with the Diocesan Strategic Plan and the the transformation agenda, "Arise and Build" (Nehemiah 2:18).
The marathon's core mission remains raising funds for the Elderly Home (Geriatric Resource Centre) at Ruai—a holistic facility offering residential care, medical consultation, psychosocial support, and spiritual nurture for vulnerable seniors.
On behalf the Diocesan leadership, Diocesan Bishop extends heartfelt gratitude to all participants, volunteers, and partners. We warmly invite future partners—corporates, institutions, and community will be cared for, treated, and kept in company.
