Buttermilk Chicken Wings
10- 14 chicken wings and cut at joint
2 cups buttermilk/mala/natural yoghurt
2 cups all purpose flour
2 tbsp oregano
1 tbsp thyme
30 ml chicken seasoning
20g salt
2tbsp paprika
2 tbsp cayenne pepper
Oil for deep frying
In a large bowl combine chicken pieces andwith buttermilk,oregano,chicken seasoning 15g of salt.Mix well and marinate, cover and let it rest in refrigerator for an hour.
Combine flour with with cayenne,thyme, paprika and remaining salt.Coat the chicken in flour and then deep fry in hot oil until cooked through and golden brown.
Drain the chicken on a paper towel and serve
