Salads are underrated starters for meals. Not only are they healthy (offering lower blood pressure, reduced risk of heart disease and stroke and a positive effect on blood sugar which can help keep appetite in check) but when done right they can also be delicious as a fresh palate cleanser.

In short ordering a salad is always a good idea.
