Key Responsibilities

Qualifications & Experience

✅ Diploma or Degree in Insurance, Finance, Business, Law, Actuarial Science, Economics, or a related field.
✅ Professional qualifications such as ACII, IIK Diploma, COP/ECOP, or any IRA-recognized certification.
✅ At least five (5) years' experience in a senior management role within the insurance industry.
✅ Strong knowledge of the Kenyan insurance market and IRA regulatory framework.
✅ Membership with the Insurance Institute of Kenya (IIK) and/or Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) will be an added advantage.
✅ Knowledge of IFRS 17 and enterprise risk management is desirable.

⛽ Fuel Prices Across East Africa: Why Is Uganda Cheaper Than Kenya Despite Being Landlocked?

The latest regional fuel price comparison has once again sparked debate after Uganda posted lower fuel prices than Kenya — even though Uganda imports most of its petroleum products through the Port of Mombasa.

Current comparison highlights:
